The Paramount at Somers is excited to offer our CNA Apprenticeship Program to the Hudson Valley and Western Connecticut communities.
This program offers individuals the opportunity to become Certified Nursing Assistants and launch an extraordinary healthcare career with The Paramount at Somers, Westchester County’s premier Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
Highlights of the program include:
- Complimentary tuition and materials: All tuition and materials are FREE to all students (a value of $3,000).
- Weekday schedule: Classes are held Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 4:00pm.
- Smaller class sizes allowing for hands on teaching and training opportunities.
- Convenient location: Our center is located in Somers, New York, 30 minutes from White Plains and Danbury, and 45 minutes from Poughkeepsie, Newburgh, and the Bronx.
- Waived NYS CNA certification application and fees.
- 1199SEIU Union: All students who pass the NYS CNA Exam are granted IMMEDIATE membership into the 1199SEIU Healthcare Workers Union, the largest healthcare workers union in the United States.
- Full-Time Employment: All students are offered Full-Time (37.5 hours per week) positions immediately following passage of the NYS CNA Exam, with access to incredible employee perks and discounts!
- Competitive rates: All students are offered $17.10/hr while training for the NYS CNA exam, and offered up to $24/hr after passing the NYS CNA exam- among the highest CNA rates in the Hudson Valley!
