Kelly Wilkins, CWCN RN
Wound Care and Infection Control

Kelly has an Associate in Nursing and has been an RN since 1998. She has always wanted to take care of others. She was inspired to become a nurse to guide patients through uncertainty with compassion and education. Her passion for the profession has led me to pursue experiences that have given me a strong foundation in patient-centered care. Her favorite part of being a nurse is focusing on making a direct impact on patients' lives, whether through providing comfort, teaching them about their health, or witnessing their recovery. Other favorite aspects include the intellectual challenges, the opportunity to build connections with diverse people, and the fulfillment from collaborating with a team and continually learning. Spending time with her family, taking her dog for walks, cooking, and reading books are just a few of the things she enjoys in her free time. "As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the mind, soul, heart, and body of our patients. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel." — Maya Angelou is her favorite quote.
