Amy Gerlitz

Amy began her career as a social work intern here at the Paramount in 2010. In 2011, she graduated with her Masters in Social Work from Columbia University and worked for the Alzheimer’s Association. She facilitated caregiver support groups, where she learned the importance of preventing burnout of caregivers serving memory care patients. She returned to the Paramount as a Social Worker in 2015 and was promoted to Director.  In her free time, Amy works as a Cantor in the community.  Amy is passionate about supporting the geriatric population and has focused her time on memory care patients. Amy shares, “I am a people person.  The team here at the Paramount works very well together.  It is a cohesive group that allows us to provide high levels of care consistently.”
