Alexis Schifano
Assistant Director of Nursing
Alexis Schifano became an Assistant Director of Nursing in June of 2022. She was inspired to join the Nursing profession, watching her mother serve the underprivileged community of Westchester County as an RN. She graduated from Columbia-Greene College as an RN and at the top of her class in 2009. Alexis started her career in Adolescent Psychology in 2009 and journeyed into Geriatrics in 2011. Alexis fell in love with the population and flourished. Striving to create strong relationships with residents and families, Alexis uses her strong clinical knowledge to educate and support her staff for the best quality of care. When asked why she loves her job, she shared, “I want to treat our residents as family and make sure their stay with us is homelike, and they are comfortable.”
