Elizabeth “Beth” Macey, RN

Elizabeth's inspiration for becoming a nurse was her mother, who became ill in 2010. Elizabeth graduated high school in 2011 and entered the nursing program at Dutchess Community College in Poughkeepsie, NY, where she earned her RN in 2015. Her first career was in private duty and then joined our team here at The Paramount in August 2018. In that time, Elizabeth served as a cart nurse, a Supervisor, and now shifted in becoming the Unit Manager. Elizabeth shares, “I believe that the heart of nursing is in compassion and care, and I want to offer that and more to the residents of Westminster unit.” In the words of Christina Feist-Heilmeier, RN: “Every nurse was drawn to nursing because of a desire to care, to serve, or to help.”
