Nursing Unit Manager

Nursing Unit Manager

Nicole always dreamed of becoming a nurse. "I was forever drawn to the field at age 13, when my uncle passed away succumbing to cardiac illness". Nicole graduated from Warwick Valley High School in 2007 and graduated with her LPN in 2012 from Farmingdale State College. She joined the team in September 2018 as a part-time medication nurse and has now transitioned to The Scarborough Unit Manager. Nicole plans to continue her education and one day earn her masters in nursing. The motto she lives by, as a nurse, comes from writer Maya Angelou, "As a nurse, we have the opportunity to heal the heart, mind, soul, and body of our patients, their families, and ourselves. They may forget your name, but they will never forget how you made them feel."
